Seems like everyone is completely sold out of two stroke pipes and silencers. Ive been keeping an eye on FMF, pro circuit, bills pipes and for months now they show sold out across the board.

When I check Rockymountain, Chaparral, Motosport, all the bigger retailers again they are all sold out.

Is this all due to covid? Is there a shortage of materials for them to make pipes and silencers?

Never seen anything like this before. Just curious if anyone might have some info on this situation.

Have you tried buying a bicycle, boat, etc in the last six months?

You think that’s bad try to buy a set of handlebars. Near impossible depending on the bend.

I bought an extra set of tires the other day. Price tag kind of stung but I figured the last time I ordered one a few months ago they were out of stock for 6 weeks. Better order all the spares you can while they show available now that riding season is starting for all the cold states.

Although I don't like it maybe this is a sign of the big "grow the sport" movement. Good for businesses mostly. I hope enthusiasm has influence on government in all its levels. But I have my doubts because mostly beginners to anything are rough on equipment and surroundings and land. Look at the garbage that you see dumped at your local riding area and surrounding ditches. Could back fire. Or even including the local dick heads in your area that think dumping their McDonald's garbage in the country is justified and/or to lazy to dispose of it properly. Nothing is going to magically get better until accountability is acknowledged and behaviors changed.
Rant over
Oops wrong thread but I leave it anyways.

This bike was just built from parts that a man without a mailing address found. The silencer was part of a lamp base. He built it all under the local bridge.

Cause = Stimulus
It's doing exactly what it was intended to do, pump money back into the economy. We should spend more of it on local restaurants and shit but yeah, this is the point.

Agree, but I think there has been too much. It is causing rampant inflation.

Agree! Adding DEP, PPS, Messico, Fresco, DPR, ... i’m sure there are more.
I had PPS and Messico pipes on my YZ125’s growing up and those were really good! Messico makes the bike revs a lot.
In my opinion the Euro brands might be a bit better because all countries in Europe still have a 125 National series, 125 series at the local/regional level and the EMX125 and 300.

My brother is a dealer, Kaw/Polaris/TM. He showed me his parts backorder list from his distributors. It was amazing the things they cant get. Things like goggles, tubes, chains, almost any pipe or slip on, and even some spark plugs just to name a few. Crazy times.

Stimulus is some but a lot of it seems to be the delay on getting container ships through ports.

Looks comfortable.......well up until that 9 feet of throttle cable gets sucked into the front wheel.

This right here. Powersports tires are in short supply at the moment, along with a lot of numerous hard parts. I really hope it gets better, it is going to be backing up service departments across the nation.

Bill's has stuff... and if it isn't in stock they make it all in house so availability is always around the corner. Just wish they'd get back to this century with order placement again. The current system of chasing them down through emails and instagram messages is atrocious.

True. I'm also concerned that the so called "last one' may be the scratch and dent item that was suddenly found in the corner of the stock room.

There is a LOT of different types of materials absolutely requded in producing a retail product.

Any welders here? Are all welding materials rapidly available? Are exhaust materials like aluminum, steel, Titanium, carbon fiber welding rods and gasses all rapidly available?

We are having issues with getting retail packaging for us to fill WPS orders.

Plenty of FMF Factory Fatty's on eBay for Husky's and KTM's. Not too many Powercore 2.1 titanium silencers though.

I have a Ktm 2 stroke and everywhere was sold out online. so I called/emailed BILLS PIPES in Socal and they either had it in stock or special made it for me but they shipped it to my house in 3 days. Anyways. try calling pro circuit, fmf, BILLS directly and see if they can special make it for what you have.

So maybe they should have given a larger tax break to the one percent than given the rest of us of us the stimulus checks? Seriously do a little reserach before blaming stimulus checks for inflation.

Kind of funny, I have been resisting the urge to post a thread on this specific topic. Been looking for either a Pro Circuit or FMF setup for my YZ250 for awhile now and every time one, or both pieces are out of stock.
