Went to a good friends house this morning and helped him freshen up the stable. Got some laps in on the KX144 and Byrnes 02 SX CR 250. Yes, that is Byrnes race bike, not a practice or replica. He had Factory Connection authenticate it year before last when he got it and had it freshened up. And let me tell ya boys, shes a ripper

I Like it. You don’t have his 02 cr125 do you ? That was a Hot bike. He won a moto at southwick on his cr125, if I remember right.

I do not. It was pure luck getting the 250. Guy had no idea what he had and it didnt run. Got it for $1800. Started tearing it down and saw MB35 everywhere. Not just the hubs. The seat pan, cylinder, cases, the cdi box. Called FC, they asked to have pics sent, they verified it was legit and said they would rebuild the suspension to spec again and if the engine needed to be refreshed they would ok it. On top of that, they emailed the graphics company and had a set of Amsoil graphics printed for it. Those are what are on it now. Suspension was sent to them, they authenticated it and refreshed it all. Bike rides like a dream. And the engine, man.... its crazy strong
