Nice! Don't see why that should be so hard on a 2fiddy.

No smoke and smell? There went that item in the two-stroke's favor. Wink

Depends on how much they fuck with the rules to give the 4-stroke enough of an advantage to win something. I've seen it happen somewhere else. Whistling

LOL. nope!

Honda built a Bike with this tech years ago, but it was too good and would not have provided the cash cow of
parts sales so they buried it.

If Honda was sincere in their green marketing, they had their answer then with lower manufacturing carbon
footprint and lower emissions than the current greenwash not to mention every other advantage, cost, weight,
sound levels...

Ya this system is the bomb!!!! Doesn't add any horsepower, will add to the cost of a bike and make it more difficult to work on!!! I can't believe the industry doesn't jump all over it!!!!

The only advantage this offers is decreased emissions which IS NOT AN ISSUE FOR MX BIKES. Why waste your time on pipe dreams? Work on getting sanctioning bodies to increase displacement rules 175/350. It will make for a better bike anyway.

It adds 4 horsepower to that sled just like they said in the video.. now do that too a 2 stroke dirtbike minus all the weight of a sled could add like 8hp..

Don't forget less rotating mass for better cornering, just as much torque and less weight. 4 stroke engines are still more complex, heavier and loud.

I like this one, uses clean air to expel exhaust gases and you can still use a carb if you're that way inclined.

If it works on a chainsaw than it should work on a bike.

Damn, that video was professional, I forgot after a while it was a sled they where talking about. Very hi-tech, even TFS and his friends at NASA will dig I think?

Very cool. I know shit about engines, but I'm pretty sure they haven't explored the smokers enough and who knows what lays in the future...

Makes me want to get one of those Ski-Doo's! Pretty cool stuff.

As for moto.. I will stick with my EFI Honda 450. She is a real cream puff, mang.

They run 600 2s against 1,000 4s.

It is a much better system on 2 strokes. Period.

It's quite a marketing gimmick on 4 strokes from what I have seen so far. Good for lazy and non mechanically inclined or those that ride in varying elevations but on a 4 stroke, that is about it.

It added 300 bucks in 1982. It added about 500 in late 90s when it went batteryless and hasn't changed much.

No Big Deal, and thats for 2 cylinders.
