Jeez Watson has been putting in some poor performances so far, I know he crashed in the warm up at Matterley but has he not recovered by now?
Not getting good jumps off the gate and too timid going into first turns IMO. His ridings ok and still finishing strong at the end of the race though.

Anyone have info on Zachary Pichon? I have not heard of him long time. Good ride for our Petr Polak, great performance of Adamo!
Pichon riding enduro now as Sherco (company from France) factory/semi factory rider.

Not bad for a Dutch kid who was thinking about quitting the sport last summer.

I look at this and think back when KTM corporate wouldn't give us one bolt or nut to help out, we had to get support thru AEO instead...

Is it me or is MXGP extremely boring so far this year? Especially after watching Daytona this morning.

No it’s not you. MX2 is a shit show quite frankly, there’s 10 decent guys in it and when we get to the fly aways I dread to think what the gate will look like. MXGP was good at Matterley, but pretty dull this weekend, but in fairness, we are missing the two guys who took the title to the wire last season. Once we get Herlings and Febvre back things will look very different

10 decent guys? Geerts didnt even get close to lapping the top 20. Imo the level was very competitive. It just lacks numbers, we could do with a bunch of extra guys in mx2.

It’s a 2 minute lap, and they ran 18 laps. You could be 6.5 seconds a lap off the pace on average and still only just get lapped. There’s no one in it. Maybe 10 is a bit low, but it’s not much more than that. Pancar, and Polak were 14th and 15th overall with the greatest of respect to them, what is their ceiling? You’d be surprised if either of them got a top 10. There’s 12-13 riders who will be the top 12-13 in 90% of the motos all year

Compared to last year it is but I wouldn't say it's outright boring by any means

I looked it up and actually Pancar scored 8th place finishes both in 2020 and 2021 🙂
But i understand your point about guys like pancar, polak, meier, haberland etc.

How do you feel about Yamaha keeping guys like Elzinga & Bonacorsi in EMX250?
