Well hope this guy was insured. It sure makes sense with 15-20k in bikes to spend another 2k for a small cargo trailer and $100 a year for insurance on them.

What does the truck look like? Covered in MX related branding?

Always better never to advertise....not saying it was the case here.

Would be nice to sit in the back of the van with a 8 round pump-action shotgun waiting....as those doors open..you let rip with birdshot..

Would that even matter unless it was a van or enclosed trailer? They were in the back of a pickup truck from what I gather.

Double locked.....then it must have been David Copperfield who made them disappear.

Hope they recover them.

Sorry to hear this, but EVERY time there is a big of road race in my area , bikes are stolen from motels. EVERY time. The word needs to get out, hauling bikes to a motel is no longer an option, anywhere.

As we can all see, our society is breaking down. This is not a political statement, just a truthful observation. Thieves have absolutely no fear because law enforcement will barely even lift a finger to do a report, much lass attempt to catch a criminal. Notice the mobs, rioting and destroying property across the country, totally unchecked. Truthfully , we are on the verge of anarchy because nobody seems to be interested in enforcing laws.....

watch those bikes like hawks and take them to motels at great, great risk

I’m sorry to hear your scoots were stolen. I had my pride and joy motocrosser stolen from me in 1983 in Tulsa. It still bothers me.

I’m bummed by the comments in this thread. A moto guy, tries to take some preventative measure and still loses two dirt bikes. And several folks can only figure out how to blame the owner who worked for and bought the motorcycles. Sheeesh.

I am originally from Kansas, used to live in Wichita. It is a shame that thieves and scum are a problem. I like to believe people are good, but it is getting more difficult with time.

Being a 19 year old who does the majority of his parts buying and mechanics, I can't imagine how it feels. I'm saving some extra cash to pick up an E250 to build a motovan out of. Hate driving anywhere with my bike in my F150.

They are having a lorettas qualifier in two weeks. It's gonna be way worse. Hopefully the hotel hires security for the night.
