Get the Selle Dalla Valle seat cover, the one that comes on the 450SXF FE, I put one one my 450SXF, soon I am going to put one on my 300xc when I get a chance. Works great.

a mate of mine just got a 2019 450, 4 hours in and the foot peg mounts cracked and pretty much snapped off and would also clean out and check your fuel filter.
when he took his bike to the shop for the foot pegs, they did a service and found metal shavings through the fuel filter from a faulty OEM filter.

I rode a 19 450sxf over the weekend and really enjoyed it, but hearing stuff like this makes it hard for me to buy one.

Let the suspension break in and don't be afraid to totally back the fork comp clicker all the way out. Mine is 25 clicks out for trail riding and only run 130 lbs for air. You could also try removing 5-10cc of fluid.

I end up sending the forks out to factory Connection for off-road valving and install their Performance Mod. Way plusher. Mine is the 18.5 450 FE but I mainly trail ride and ride my crappy home built track that is currently rutted-out with small jumps.

Definitely get a shock pump if you don't have one and drop pressure in the fork. PSI= spring rate. clickers aint gonna do jack if the PSI is too high.

Lower the compression damping in the shock (high AND Low speed) until you get a softer spring. Add clicks of rebound dampening to the rear if it's too bouncy.
