I just found these in an old box in the garage. I haven't seen them in at least 40 years.

Had those and loved them. I wonder if mine are similarly buried somewhere in the house. Great find!

legit.. like, should automatically make you eligible for reserved parking at the grocery store, and standing ovations at sporting events kind of legit. I was born in 1983; two decades too late, I feel. Wish so badly that I could've experienced the pre and post "On Any Given Sunday" moto mania of the 1970's... not to mention the music culture! Smile

Sweet!

I had a pair from a little later than that, probably 78.
Turned my hands blue if it was hot.

I remember when my best bud got a pair. He was four years older than me and worked part-time at a gas station pumping gas, so he had "Real Money." Anyway, he put them on, and we just stared at his hands like he was wearing the Hope Diamond or something. Makes me chuckle at the thought. Torsten Hallman was such a God-like figure to me back then, he could have packaged up stale dog poop and I would've wanted it.

Same here, all the way around. Time frame and stained hands.
