Anyone have any feedback on how the '19 150sx is versus the '18? I haven't seen much in the way of ride reviews and I'm curious on the engine and chassis changes.

I rode a ‘19 150 a few weeks ago. If you can find a better deal on the ‘18 I’d get that. You won’t notice a difference between the two as they’re about even and the money you’d save can make the ‘18 a way better bike than the ‘19.

I rode a 2019 125 and 450, the differences are very small, personally I notice almost nothing. If you have to think about the budget then just buy the 2018.

Thanks for the replies. I can find pretty good deals on left over '18's. I was just curious if the engine improvements were noticeable.

The clutch on the 19 modulates way better due to the dds style spring. I personally can tell the difference between 18 and 19. The 19 jetting is way better out of the box as well. Just my .02$. I'd get the 19 for the simple fact of resale value, why buy a bike that's already outdated.

Sixeightone, Did you notice any difference in the engine between the '18 and '19?

I haven't sat on the 150, but from the 250sxf,16 to 19 I really do like the slimness of the radiators.

I think it depends how much you are saving... $2,000 less- Id buy 18, $1000 less- Id buy 19.

As stated above, resale value should be factored in.

Im with 681. The few 19 150's ive rode both at demo day and setting them up for customers i can say that they run cleaner for 19 right out of the box, the clutch modulates better, bike is thinner at shroud area and the pankl tranny shifts better under load. Id say if were talking a few hundred buck difference get the 19.

19 is different. PV is slightly changed, and Aux Exh ports are a tad different. Also the pipe is different for 19, it is a bit longer, lowering the RPM where peak HP is made and adding some meat down low. I'm sure they tweeked the IGN box also but cant confirm.

Forgot to mention squish clearance is less which will help the jetting and crispness
