If you think $6899 is low, wait until you try and sell it in a couple of years

2018 suzuki 450s have a 1000 dollar rebate on them already. So take that off the msrp plus another 6-700 depending on the sales person. Add whatever doc fees and ohv tags you need plus your areas sales tax and you have your otd price. Here in AZ I can sell one out the door at around 8200.

My dads 15 sat at a local Suzuki dealer for over a year before it finally sold. I tried telling him that used suzukis just don't sell. He didn't believe me until his 2015 RMZ450 sat for that long. He has a 17 that he got last year, but he said it will be his last Suzuki because he's not going to deal with that again. Ive seen a few shops with brand new 17 RMZ450's going for $4799....

No offense my man, but dirtbikes in gereral dont sell these days. People want to trade up for a dirtbike not pay cash for one. Doesnt matter what color you ride.

The hard working buy new bikes because their finances allow them too, then when it comes time for those same people to upgrade to new model year they are going to take major hits to get onto a new machine.

I get what you are saying, but I've never had a problem selling a Honda or Yamaha. Kawi's took a little longer, but never had an issue selling them. Suzuki's on the other hand, no matter how clean they are(never had over 20 hours on them), have always been a nightmare to sell. It makes thing even worse when the bike is still so fresh with low hours and the dealer cant even sell them new for $5000. I've never had that problem with a Honda, Yamaha or Kawasaki.

2012 RMZ450 here. I also have way too much invested in my bike. Like already stated The market value determined it is not worth selling, so I’ll keep it.
I also believe motorcycles are hard to sell in general. Unless you offer up ridiculous prices or hit the timing just right for some one in the market it’s all the same no matter the brand. The real “loss” in value happens when adding mods. If the bike is kept stock or close to, you can move it and not have hurt feelings. Lol
Good luck, Ghost

They are always really good with not doing the smoke and mirrors thing. They charge advertised price, 99 dollar doc fee and tax/title in your state. Have bought many machines from them. Rock River in WI is usually more competitive on the yamahas though.

It’s a bike that should have been built in 2012 or 13 so that sounds about right for a new leftover.

Don't you know bro?! If you can't log into your bike's free wifi then your machine is obsolete.

Sold my 08 RMZ450 for $3K at the beginning of the year. Was immaculate with 150+ hours. Lasted 2 days on CL. I guess it also depends on location.
