Anyone know if the 18's, will swap directly to 19's?

I only ask, as I have an option to pick up some kit forks for the 18 at a decent price.

I know there's not a lot of spec info on the 19's yet, just basic info.

From some info I got, it's a no (axle size changing). And I'm not sure what the clamping surface diameters will be. Even though the new production fork will be 49mm stanchion spring forks, the upper tube's upper clamping area still might be 1mm smaller than some kit forks.

ML, Are you talking about the head tube diameter being smaller on the 19 or are you just talking about the stock upper clamps? I have a set of PC kit forks on my 17 with PC clamps. your saying no go?

Good to know. I'll likely hold off on the purchase.

Thanks ML!

I'm talking about the stock upper clamp clamping diameter.

If you wanted to swap those onto a 19, you'd have to use an older wheel and axle as well...and I'm not sure what the stock axle lug offset is on the 19 and I'm not sure if your clamps will carry over either. I don't believe the headtube/steering stem size is changing but the length might.
