You guys that have installed it, how long did it take you?

My dad and I are getting ready to install one pretty soon on a friends bike.

about 5 hrs total for me. But I did screw up by taking the wiring harness out before I received my kit. So quite a bit of time was routing and re-routing the new harness because I didn't have an example to follow at that point. so maybe I would have 3.5 to 4 hrs actual time installing everything. It was well worth it imo.

Takes me about 4 1/2 hours at the shop but I get too many distractions with customers and phone calls. I've done 4 of them this year just to sell units. I am the service manager at a Honda shop so I go in the back and work from time to time when we are backed up. First time may take you 8ish though. Depends on how competent/confident of a tech you are. If you want to get rid of the clutch switch just leave the stock perch and cable on it. Plug the 2 wires together under the rubber cover by the left radiator. Saves time and you don't need to pull the clutch in to start. (KTM style)

Thanks. That was going to be another question, because he wants to use the stock perch and I remember reading that you can just plug the two wires together, I just didn't know where at.

Super easy actually. You will see it when you take the plug ins all apart for the new harness.

When you disconnect the clutch perch switch you may find yourself accidentally pressing that start button when loading the bike, moving it in workshop etc. I 3d printed a little plastic cover that snaps over the switch to stop that happening

It take me about a 12 pack to get one done.
