They swapped shocks between motos, not frames...that should be your first clue.

Mustve been the eyelets as the spring would hold it up. Or the bolts

Bummed for Seeley.

If it wasn't that frame eyelet failure, what kind of spring shock failure would cause it to sack out like that? N2 pressure wouldn't affect ride height that much, right?

If it wasn't frame, I'd guess the spring would have to break, or the spring perch/preload adjuster would have to fail?

If someone gets a picture of a linkage dangling out the bottom of sellys bike, it's not gonna look good for honda, whether it's a real world problem for not.

Photo Honda posted on their IG and I texted a few different people there to ask what was changed. I got two responses saying shock, not frame.

Also, I backed up and took aoke screenshots, zoomed in on the area when the bikes was in pit lane. No linkage hanging down was visible.

As many on here know, I'm close with a lot of the KYB guys and I wish I could instantly say it was the linkage and not the shock...but everything I'm seeing and hearing is pointing to the shock.

Snap-On won’t admit this, but their tools are just too powerful. Bad Torque setting.
