Anyone have some real feedback for exhausts on these bikes? Any dynos ive seen i remember showing negligible gains.

The yosh ss/al is the cheapest ive seen and i emailed their tech dept and they didnt have hp numbers but said their exhaust is actually heavier than the factory exhaust i believe half lb. Kind of a turn off thats generally an advantage is lighter and more power.

Ive had the husky for 6 months and havent changed a single thing besides o ring chain. Kind of wanting to do something!

I have the FMF Ti, Carbon system on my 16 350SXF, along with Tokyo Mods ECU mapping. Not sure of HP numbers but it made a noticeable difference down low, with out loosing anything up top, ( probably revs a little more.)
This has been on my bike since February. The only issue I have is I have just ordered a 19 350, and the pipe won’t fit.

Another vote for the FMF and ECU mapping. I actually went with the ti header (sx style) and aluminum muffler with carbon end cap, as it is only 1.6 ounces heavier than the ti one, and $100 cheaper. I did not dyno back to back, but low end improved quite a bit. I also run VP Racing T4 fuel. Oxygenated with no ethanol.

I would also recommend drilling the airbox and going up a tooth or two on the rear sprocket. I run +2 rear. I'm 165lbs without gear.

If you are interested, here is my build thread:

I have that exhaust you are talking about, aluminum slip-on. It may be slightly heavier but I don’t notice the added weight the bike is still light as feather compared to my old 450.
I feel like it helps with overrev and certainly an improvement as the stock can is so choked up.

I hate to be one of those guys but I wanted to ask, are you able to get proper sag numbers on the stock suspension? If not that is the first thing I would do. From there I would get a skid plate, play with gearing, and get the pipe.

My 2017 has a skid plate, +1 rear sprocket (+2 coming soon), Spring Conversion/Rear revalve (I'm a heavy guy).

I do have a question to you FMF guys, do they sell the shorter Mega Bomb as part of a combo with the Factory 4.1? I'm not big on the longer header.

Yes, they have 045619 (ti) or 045618 (stainless) which is the standard header, like the TLD race team uses.

thinking of converting to AOS spring fork by Kayaba, wonder if it’s worth the dough

I feel like this is the better, and more cost effective option.

I couldn't find a price on that Technical Touch KYB AOS fork kit.

I have the Ktech kit, which is basically an SFF set up. Motofinne on here said he hated it but after one ride I'm pretty impressed (take my slow, overweight, seat of the pants test with a grain of salt). It was pretty reasonably priced through Total Control Suspension here in North Carolina.

If I lived in SoCal I would take my stuff to Race Tech's headquarters. Their Marketing Mgr is on here a lot and is super helpful. You get a 20% vital discount on parts and labor too. He referred me to a few RT shops more local to me but it would have been cheaper to ship my stuff to CA than to pay for a full price revalve ($190 - $215) then the gold valves on top of it.

I had my motor built by Dan Crower, and he dynos everything. He strongly recommended the HG pipe for my 17 Husky 350. His cams, the HG pipe, extrude-honed head, ecu, and race gas: 63 hp

Hey Matt - by any chance did you weigh your forks before and after, or at least know the weight now compared to the stock AER forks? Looks like a cool setup - my biggest reservation is adding weight to the bike, but the ad says they might even be lighter than the stock air forks?????

Hey John,

I did not weigh them before and after, but going from the A48-R to the Lucky system is slightly heavier. I asked Jeremy from MX-Tech that same question when we did the swap. It is roughly only 2 lbs. Going from 4CS to the Lucky system is lighter, however.

I can deal with the two pound weight difference. You can't tell the weight difference on the track, and the performance difference (for me) is worth it. I've dropped 15 lbs in the past two months, so I'll take the 2 lb gain on the bike.... Haha.

pretty much mirrors my setup\opinion on power but on a fx350 with sx style header.

I have the FMF exhaust and stock header on my FC350. Definitely feels more lively but the stock system is good, really smooth power delivery.

I prefer a little more hard hitting so I went with the FMF and Tokyo mods ECU update.

Did you do the slipon only with the ECU update and that woke it up?

Or are you saying it woke it up after you went with the full FMF system w/ECU update?
