A week after the last SX round. I highly doubt it will be a MX round because they will have a week to prepare.

The USGP at Glen Helen will be run on May 14-15, between SX and AMA Motocross, following cooperation by Youthstream and MX Sports.

Sweet, our countrys so cool it has a title sponsor "Monster Energy USA"

So only one USGP next year? Unless we get the TBA one?

Also are we going to see some Euros at the las vegas SX the week before?

i´m guessing that´s the "TBA".
I wish they could drop Bellpuig and Valkenswaard. Get Matchams Park back to 05 standard - sweetest track the GP´s ever had! Also, I wih they could run a 125 race at the USGP. the EMX125 won´t show up, but it would leave plenty of Americans to compete and perhaps draw a crowd.

they dont confirm the calendar till end of January each year anyways. Not sure what the point of provisional calendars is. just gives MXA the chance to get all hot and bothered when it changes. Anyone else notice the asterisk next to the Valkenswaard date saying it will be on a monday?

Watching races at Lierop makes my knees and leg muscles ache. No place to rest and most jump landings are....non-existant.
But it is still bitchen. I was there when Reed beat Pichon in 2001.

I've been holding out hope that Namur would miraculously return but I guess that one is gone forever. :-(

I agree with your scheduling assumptions; however, in this day and age...

Ya gotta admit: It's a pathetic excuse.

Many of the riders ride the warm up race at Glen Helen before the Opener of the Nationals, it might just turn out pretty good.

The top AMA riders don't have anything to gain by racing the GP so I wouldn't expect any top Names.

April will be tough on Searle and Roczen. Bulgaria GP on the 10th, Seattle SX on the 16th, Valkenswaard GP on the 25th, and then Salt Lake SX on the 30th.

At the last GP at Lierop it was announced that the club made a new deal with YS for the GP's and the 2011 GP was confirmed so I don't understand why there is a TBA in there.

That whole fitting in with SX thing needs quite a lot of fine tuning. Eventually they will need to cut a few rounds when Roczen and co. want to race in the big class.

Oh I should think Searle will have wrapped up the West Coast title by then anyways... WoohooWhistling

Or maybe out injured again. Sad I guess they'll judge it on their points standings. No point in flying backwards and forwards if they're only racing for 10th spot.

Is your boy doing any European National Championships next year, or just the GP's?

Tell him to come and race a few Maxxis British Championship rounds or Red Bull Nationals if he has the opportunity!

Maybe they should just forget it,they have nothing to gain by doing it and Roczen has years ahead of him if he wants to do that and he has too much to lose with the GP series surely,

Mind you the Euros do cross over and give it a go like Desalle and Dedycker did last year during the series,Desalle had 2nd place on the line too,but I can't understand why more AMA riders don't take it up,after all they are often on huge pay compared to the times when legends like Bailey, ward,Johnson,o'mara etc all did it years back.heck what an awesome sight that would be,like MXoN type shootout right on the doorstep?? And we've all seen how fast the Euros can be too

Youthstream are bringing it and I think it's a shame if a lot don't take it up, maybe it's more about $$$ now than pride and esteem that used to be around

In addition to MX2, most likely, he'll be racing Italian Nationals and some select other races. He should know more of his schedule by the end of the week.

25. April 2011 is easter monday, a holyday in many european countries.
Maybe they move it, so the races are not on easter sunday?
