Anyone owned any of these? Did a particular year have problems that were common with owners?

Currently on a '09, has served me well and it's been extremely reliable prompting me to want another Kawi. Funds at the ready.

I've read the archived reviews from the major publications, just wanting some opinions from a fellow weekend warrior. Cheers!

Sorry for the late reply (no internet) I think a '17 is a bit out of my budget but I could get a 16 at a push!

I had a ‘14, it was a great bike. Only issue I had was with the second injector getting clogged. If you stay on keeping the valves in spec it’ll be a solid ride.

I spun some laps on a new 2016 and thought it was a really great bike. I wouldn't hesitate to race one bone stock.

I had a '13 a '15 and just picked up a '17 Kx 250f. They were all really good reliable bikes. I am a 40+ year old vet rider 190lbs. I liked the '13 and the '15 a lot until I picked up this '17. It handles better and the harshness of the front fork is gone. The bike is nimble light and agile. It lost some of the bottom end grunt of the earlier years but mid through top is pretty strong for a 250f. The Kawasaki dealer in Sublimity Oregon had a sale going on leftover '17's for $4,999 otd. I had to pull the trigger for that price!!! I just went on their site and it looks like they are back up to $5399 otd which is still a pretty good price. We don't have sales tax here in Oregon.

13 was a good bike, I have mine still and it’s never let me down. The 16 I have was good stock but since I’ve done the whole engine for outdoors/AX it went 4 times this year lol. But for the most part they’re fast and reliable.
