The competition was gnarly this year with some very fast dudes running up front in both classes.

Good to see you fellers out there both days!

We had a good time this weekend. Older boy rode the C/D class since he just got on big bikes. Went down in front of the whole pack on the start in the main. Got up in last and ended up in 7th passing 30 + riders in 5 laps.

My little dude has only ridden Washougal twice so his full speed wasn't there. But he did become one of only 6 or so kids to ever huck the big 90' Washougal triple on a 65...................

Fun event can't wait for next year................

Someone posted about bucket lists. I live in Texas and this would be my #1 thing on my bucket list. The 125 classes might be back by the time I get a chance to do this lol. I'm 32 now do they have an over 40 125 class there? That's about how long it will be for me to make it there. Lol

Watched a couple videos and it looked rad.. Whoever built that #444 Splitfire bike deserves some props, nice bike.

Only problem I had with the videos is there wasn't any results included.. Can some post some top 10-20 pro results please.. It would be greatly appreciated.

They run three classes for two strokes at the Dream Race.

125cc Masters (A/Cool
125cc Novice (C/D)
250cc Support

They also ran all of the regular classes with four strokes, etc. but plenty of guys raced their two strokes in the 30+, 40+ and 50+ classes on Sunday.

I'm age 35 and raced my 125 in the Masters class as well as the first moto of 30+ A class.
I'm not setting the world on fire with 13th in the heat and 24th in the main, but this is my favorite race every year.

I thought you rode good the class you was in was pretty stacked. Steinke won the first moto you was in by a good margin.

Disappointed with my qualifier I got a good start was in a qualifying position. Had one of those fluke things happen some how got roasted on and a piece of dirt in my goggles that got in my left eye.

I had to slow down after a few more laps it was too much dropped from 15th to 19th Sad

I saw that. I was wondering why you were going backward a bit in that moto. Your class was pretty damn fast too. I think the guys who were top 3 to 5 are right around my speed, but I didn't get their lap times.

Halfway through the main, someone doubled the triple in front of me... I hesitated and cased the triple pretty hard. It sent a bolt of lighting through both forearms and pretty much wiped out my grip strength for a few laps. I am happy to have stayed on two wheels all day and had an awesome time racing!

That #444 bike is my cousin Seaniboy's bike. The kid hauls the mail on a 450 as well. That 125 is nice in any trim. One of the coolest kids around for sure.

What up Lamy!!!- you and Tye coming down here anytime soon? I'm in Santa Monica for the time being- I've got room!

Power Yamaha (Dave Sibley) loaned me a 2008 Yamaha 125 for the Event. My 125 skills are a bit lacking after 20 some years not riding one. I did enter the HoleShot Event and got racked in the first group - got 2nd to Austin Black (Who went on to win the HoleShot Event) twice and he moved on and I went on to drink some more beer. LOL That is me on the T-Shirt. It is quite the event!!
Next year I will build up a bike and see what I can't do........

The holeshot race was awesome! I'll bet that idea get's adopted by other events and promoters in the future.

Motocross, Beer, Pizza, Two strokes... The dream race just keeps getting better every year!

I think he was using the MXGP method of estimating race attendance.

I will have to be there next year. Looks awesome. I just need to start building a 125. I wonder how they feel about 144 big bore kits?

Awesome to see some throw back gear on the guy in the middle of this shot. I had that tld gear in about 2001.

It's 125 or 150 are allowed nobody really cares about that part there was a few 2016 ktm 150sx there.

Nice! I'll start scouting for 125's now on craigslist.

My dream is that the 125 dream race turns into what sleepy hollow mx does and does a two stroke only weekend even vintage. The also break down the skill levels and it's both 125 and 250's.

Last year was just all the bikes lined up, judges picked a winner who had the coolest bike.

Looks like they are also having a “barn find” class.
