Get a 150sx and skip the "mods." Saying the old style kyb suspension is superior is also a bit of a joke.... imo... coming from a 13 yz450f. The carbs are a bit finnicky at first but when it's dialed in you're riding a much more advanced 2 stroke. Take a look at how much the new ktms weigh vs the 13 year old yz's.

Most people prefer to race the KTM 125 over the 150 because the power is easier to use. The 150 is fast but the power is all upper mid an top.
