They know it it's been happening for years why not just use the right bike is it really that hard

Only 5 KTM's and one Husky on a gate full of 125s. Crazy.
I'd be willing to bet that most of the Riders are using borrowed bikes or it's a second bike they have in their garage that they ride occasionally and being with the Yamahas for cheaper and easier to get that would make sense those ktm's and Huskies ain't cheap

Wow- completely crazy. I've ridden this track on a 125 two-stroke and that is straight up WFO. He is launching off those hills.

If you say "period" it will put a period in and start a new sentence for you.

I was a little bummed when they rolled through the year's events I didn't hear any mention of the kid that ran away with round one, Tijero

The rules and organizing of these events has been very UNCLEAR

Last year - it was up to 150 - for fun. Why?
Because lots of people own 150 ktms for fun over a 125 - and lots of old project 125s get rebuilt and built up as play bikes in various big bore forms. This opened up the entry field to get a full gate.

This year - the "word" was this would be an actual series - east/central/west with a grand finale I believe at the true 125 dream race later in the year

Then I believe the promoter and concept man behind these events (125 dream race guy) was completely out - and the races turned into what it is - with some exceptions. For example - you were supposed to only be allowed 1 event (as rules were written right before the outdoors started) - but obviously they let that slide with will hahn (and others) - for good reason - we need full gates and talent people recognize.

We were GOING to field an effort for the central portion - and nearly bought a new 144 to do it when the rules were still along those lines - the time required to get the bike ready, logistics of travel sorted, and all that is extensive and THANKFULLY I didn't go forward - as I would have bought a bike I couldn't race - and when series was axed all the other planning would have been wasted (if they stuck with 1 race only)

Hopefully next year there is more coherence and earlier release of rules - sure DD probably knew the day of event it should be a 125 - but then again maybe he planned this all out when it was 150 - or maybe (like most pros I know) he just went off last years rules and didn't bother to check and just wanted to race and have fun - Im glad he lined up - gave Ty someone to chase (and better prep for pro days - DD looked fast first 2 laps)

Expenses and labor? BlinkLaughing

At the most you have to replace a $10 base gasket. How long does it take to remove 4 nuts holding down the cylinder? 4 minutes?

Sesker15 had asked, “Wonder who protested DD?”
Freedom of Information Act ……We could most probably get that information from the AMA or MX Sports with a RTK request. But what if it was Ryno, or someone who didn’t want everyone to know it was them? I’m not doing it.

By the way, the 125cc All Star race, MX National, and Budds Creek track was excellent.

Ryno protested him. Pretty sad if you ask me. And yea, it was a 150. So what. It’s an exhibition race.

I think if all I had to ride was a cheater bike, it didn't really mean anything, ID just ride and get the DQ. The ride is still fun.
