125 2-Stroke race at Crow Hill

Edited Date/Time 8/7/2012 12:43pm
Like the smell of pre-mix in the morning? Yeah, I thought so.

This Sunday, August 5th at Crow Hill in Baldwinville, MA is the second annual National Ivitational. In addition to the usual high paying pro classes (600.00 for a moto win) a 125cc 2-stroke class has been added for A and B riders with a $2,000.00 + 100% payback purse. Lots of New England fast guys have been buying, begging and borrowing 125s for this one so it should be an epic race.

The folks at Crow HIll do a nice job with the track.

This should be some great racing too, lots of guys re-learning that mix ratio the past few weeks..

Any of you folks want to make a weekend of it we are running MX at Winchester on Sat, 1/2 hour from Crow Hill and KTM payout for you smoker guys.

A fast buddy of mine is heading up there. Nick Desiderio. He only has his 250f, but would gladly rip a 125 that someone could kindly lend him.

A and B riders are eligible

125-150 2-strokes + 100% payback to 10th place = awesome racing!

I'm going to play Nick's agent for this 125 race. 15% of whatever Nick takes home goes to the owner of the 125 Nick borrows. He's a good kid, who knows how to go fast, and I think he would do well. email me camp332@hotmail.com

We've seen Nick race at the New England Regional a few times and he definitely lays it down.

Someone needs to get him a smoker so he can get in on this.

JND, thanks for the plug on Nick's skill.

It would be cool for the person who isn't going to race the event, but has a bike to be involved. Nick can be their own "Seabiscuit"

i was there yesterday this is a speculative pretty accurate guess on who is racing the 125 class

Tony Lorusso
John Dowd
Robby Marshal
Jake Abbott
Josh Clark
Candiduses
Chris Pugrab

and the return of Chad Charboneau !

im really glad this race is happening as the track realizies there is a need for 125 racing, people were all talking about it there yesterday, and a lot of guys are going to test there 125s tomorrow up there for the thursday practice, anyone who has never witnessed a 125 pro race should go to this event , 125 racing is all about the rider all the fast guys can hold it wide open the guy that is the best and makes the least mistakes wins, you make one mistake on a 125 and three guys go by, this is not borring 4 stroke your fathers lawnmower follow the leader stuff this is real motocross, this even couldnt happen with out these guys

Plus a boat load of kids who race 125s all the time.

The 125 race at the Maine State Championship was THE BEST race of the weekend, I'd love to watch 125 motos every weekend.

Jimmy Decotis still hurt? It's been forever. Looks like its just not in the cards for him to ride a FC bike
8/1/2012 11:10am
Jimmy is still out, he's getting better but not race ready yet. Jake Abbott is racing Jimmy's 125 at Crow Hill.

Wish that he could have had a chance on the FC Honda. I know he did "have a chance" but I wish he didn't get hurt so damn much while hired to ride for them.

The interest in 125 2 strokes is all around. We have a 3 lap 125 2 stroke Red Bull challenge "running of the bulls" at intermission at all of our summer series races in the Western New York Motocross Association races. Started with 6 and last week had 19 race . Gotta love the sound of a crisp well jetted 125.Cool

Crow Hill is a fantastic place. Love the track reversal! Weekend will be epic!!

Yeah it should be a great weekend, there's practice all day on Saturday for 30. and then the races on Sunday which include the 2-Stroke race plus the $4,800 purse pro classes.

With over $7,000 on the line how good do you think the racing will be? Wait for it... Awesome!
