MX1: 40 RIDERS
MX2: 35 RIDERS
VET: 35 RIDERS
I can see the $$$ signs in 500guy's eyes right now... it must feel like standing infront of the Bellagio in Vegas.
Jeff Emigs Keys to the Race:
1. Get a good start
2. Don't crash
I think there's almost 100 entrys in the 450 class alone at Hangtown.
Just because you have a new stupid thought does'nt mean you should start a new thread letting us know about it!
Cool! I look forward to watching it!

Anyone want to bet on the real number ?
So far the only list I have seen has MX1 at about 26 to 28 and MX2 even less.
it's still going to be a great race, I'm excited to see Zach Osborne in the MX2 and some of the young guns from over there.
and Cairoli is one of my favorites
There is no list of the total riders for the GP yet as entries are still being taken for all classes. They accept as many entries as they can a select from there. There will not be a list released until next week. So whos on the list of Euro's has been posted on many web sites and all the others will have to wait and see. The best GP riders will be there and the Americans who race because they love to ride will fill out the gates. I bet ever gate will be filled by the best rides there.

wanna bet?
If I'm wrong (which I'm not) I'll not go to the race.
If you're wrong (which you are) you'll be the one staying home. You'll not be missed.
I go with
MX1: 40 RIDERS
MX2: 35 RIDERS
VET: 35 RIDERS
total 110, but probably more
Anyways I'll be closer than you, baby

The difference is that in the GP only 40 riders for class are allowed, baby.
And it looks like the USGP will be the race with most riders so far this season.
Do not compare apples to pears.
Only MX2 allows 40, MX1 and Vet are limited to 35 at the gate, or didn't you read your own post?
How many actually line up in the end is another story.
4 stroke de-evolution! With the right handicap even I could beat Tiger Woods.

that's your (non) deal with line-up. But all those Euros will turn up; their bikes are already crated for transport, and the only ? is Jimmy 702, the rest are healthy. They even left last weekend's injured riders like Charlier and Laninovich off the list. The list is THAT real !
Where did these guys come from? Are they Cali local pros?

Totally not complaining about the list, I anticipate a great time.
Pourcel?
Sipes?
800?
Peick?
Looks like the "Who's Who" of GP racin' are gonna have a difficult Race.
I'm puttin' money on our guys...and the French kid is one of "our-guys" at the moment.
Oh, and, I'm not acceptin' Euros!

That's Sebastien Pourcel, Christophe's big brother. Christophe stated that he has no interest in racing the GP, he is going for an AMA championship.

The GP`s have a restricted 40 rider gate...you don`t "qualify" nowadays (boo!) you are hand picked to participate as a representative of the host nation unless a regular seeded GP rider.
