Wow...... And that poor rev limiter. Did I see 165 mph? Don't doubt it could go faster but......

Never could figure out why some people think it sounds cool running against the rev limiter.
Shift, and get that thing down where the power lives.

If he did not ride it that way and short shifted it would have put him on his ass. Poor riding skills IMO when you have to use the limiter to control the engine.

That being said I’d like an opportunity to show him hows it’s done!

It's a supersport, the power "lives" just right under that rev limiter. There's a reason a 1000 red lines at 12-13k and a 600 at 15-16k. They're high revving engines and they love it.

Yeah but you want to shift so you got the sweet spot on the torque with next gear Smile

I got revlimit on 15.800 but shift at around 13.5..
600cc. Anything above that is just because it's too close to next corner to shift, then you change gearing on the bike Wink

I am well aware of where the power is with that type of bike, but bouncing off of the rev limiter is not using that power.
I guess it sounds cool to some, but I think it sounds like crap.
And, STAY OFF MY LAWN!
