How will he do this season? Never looked as good since he left ktm to go to America will his return fetch any good results??
Thoughts.....
Thoughts.....
Overall.... sixth or seventh.
NEED STARTS TOMMY
The Shop
Although I think it's slightly unfair to blame it on the Americans I think we should just for kicks
Even so, bar Lommel in 2012, Searle still has a great record at the MXdN.
How much of a fuck you pass was RC's pass down the hill on AC.
Pit Row
He beat Van Horebeek in 17 motos in 2012 - only counting motos which saw Van Horebeek finish.
He beat Paulin in 14 motos in 2011 - only counting motos which saw Paulin finish.
Those are solid results against riders regarded as being among the very best in the GPs, if not the world.
His record at the Motocross Des Nations looks like this:
1st overall (MX2, 2014)
2nd overall (MXGP, 2013)
6th overall (MXGP, 2012 - but it was at Lommel, and he's not the strongest in the sand)
3rd overall (MXGP, 2011)
4th overall (MX2, 2009)
2nd overall (MX2, 2008)
2nd overall (MX2, 2007)
12th overall (MX2, 2006 - his first nations, and he was only about 6 years old at the time)
So he clearly does have the potential to be a frontrunner in the GPs, as his CV shows.
He remains one of the top 250 riders in the world, and there's a chance he'll be able to carry that form over into the MX1 class, now he's on a competitive bike that suits his riding style.
And i've a feeling - or perhaps more of a hope - that he could be the surprise package of this season.
As far as his change in attitude is concerned. I reckon Jamie Dobb might have more to do with it than his trip to America. He certainly seems more focussed and professional under Jamie Dobb's guidance
