I've heard Jody is building the track from hell for these guys too. I hope he doesn't blow this and actually builds a good g.p. track instead of typical G.H. monster.

Same reasoning applies to the MXoN. Should the USA guys blow that off also? I think it will be fun to see who is 1st american like back in the day.

I watched a repeat of the 450's from GH '09 last night and in all honesty I didn't think the track was that bad. Im sure it DOES get real rough, but I expect the GP guys will genuinely be looking forward to racing there.

I'm definitely not saying the G.P. riders can't handle it. I've just heard he's building a monster for the upcoming G.P. and I would rather see him build a track that would showcase the true potential of these riders than make it a nightmare for all the riders making the trek here.

If the track is like '08, we'll have an international incident on our hands.

One thing I did decide while watching the repeat last night was how much I would LOVE to ride the track - it would probably take me the best part of 5 minutes to get round, but man those hills look like fun.

I wished they would have used the full Mt. St. Helens and used Talladega for the entire race instead of just the start.

When I am at the top of Mt. St. Helen's I instinctively scrunch my neck and shoulders like the bridge is going to clothesline me....that sucker is STEEP!

My favourite section is between 2.05 and 2.20m... not sure if it has a name but reckon I'd be smiling ear to ear floating up and over those jumps.

LOL! Maybe those diesel fumes had some kind of negative impact after all? I think 500guy just favors the Nats, that's all.

Seriously if we all of a sudden should apply logic on this sport and dismiss passion we wouldn't be riding at all. So this negative shit really sux and is pointless. I see how a person involved, or maybe a team could be a piss ant, but a fan/spectator?

The more racing the merrier and if we can get some transcontinental racing to watch any spectator should sober up.

There is no REAL reason.

Back when men were men and corporate crap took a back seat, guys like Hannah and RJ and Weinert and many more would have bought their own bikes and called in sick to race an event like this.

Too many convenient excuses. Fewer and fewer racers who are up for a challenge.

1. Is not the race of the Century....Who said it was....MXA ?
2. Is not part of their Championship Series.....Your national championship is over already...RV2 wins it !
3. Is not Televised Live on any decent USA Networks....What decent network shows live AMA races ?
4. Entry Fee is High....The riders probably won't pay out of their own pockets....I'm sure they all have some $$$ anyway because you actually pay your riders right ?
5. No Prize Money....You can't put a price on the pride you'll feel if you win it.
6. If they lose they suck.....Yeah pretty much....chess club is always a safer option.
7. If they win its home field advantage.....It's in California isn't it ?
8. MXA said GP’s was the devil 4 weeks ago.....They also said Luongo is only after money.....oh wait.
9. This week MXA say’s GP’s is awesome don’t miss out.....Don't you think the GP's are awesome ?
10. We don’t care how the hell they do it in Europe.....You don't see much past your own country so that doesn't surprise me.
