You are right on what they need, big 180 bowls, tighter-steeper-taller-closer rhythms, and slower speeds overall. That's why Arlington 3 was good. Listen to the interviews from the riders, the table over 2 and other jumps were bigger than they are used to. Not bigger in distance (besides the table over single over table), but in height because of steepness (likely not even actual height of take off or landing).
I am thinking Dirt Wurx heard the positive comments and will continue the trend and that's a huge win for all of us.
Go back to 02-04 I believe and you'll find much more challenging tracks than that one.
Now all we get is lame jumper whoops, usually followed by a 90* corner....
