Hello everyone! There has been many 2man yeti videos recently. Good job and congrats on all the good farms!
We have been consistently killing yeti with 2 minutes to spare now and thought it might be fun to try it with really low gear (194AP pirate weapon).
Edit: After looking through the comments, I would like to point out something that many people probably missed: the op-ness of summoner root + tank cooperation. Root's cd can be reset by proc-ing 4. Having done this more than 500 times, our coordination is good enough to proc root after every yeti attack (this might not be a good idea sometimes since we also want to cc+pin and if we root too much, we pass the 90 70 50 mark without a chance to cc+pin). Since our summoner is cheap, we don't have the hm 4 yet so we still have room for improvement.
Here is a list of good times for root:
During every two handed smash - so you can cc + pin even if yeti decides to moonwalk next.
After the 90 70 50 slam - so everyone can stand in the heat behind him to gain AP buff + free dps. Usually you can get yeti to 40% when the root after the 50% slam ends.
After the 40% slam (not ice) - icicles will still fall but yeti won't do the stomping animation. This way you get more time to clear mushroom/ice if you need to, or it simply pushes yeti's hp down further so you only face 2 icicle stages.
After the 8th ice/last ice - again this is to delay the final jump.
With our normal gear and the above roots, we usually kill him during the 2nd 8-ice slam phase.
A small tip for blademasters with hm block: I use E - Q - E - SS - E - 1F for the 8-ice now and use multislash (+SS if need to) when icicles fall to avoid getting rng'd.
For more information you can go to our site, and you can find cheap bns gold here as well.
