Member speedydemon has a wheelset and sss forks for sale in this forum. I paid for the forks on sunday 1/14 and he has vanished. Any info on this character would be appreciated.

I would post on his add that you already paid for them ,that way ppl know ,if you went thru PayPal just open a claim

I sent him payment for the wheels and never received them lucky I sent it as a payment and not friends and family. He hasn’t answered me in days. He was trying to get me to pay friends and family but I refused to deal seemed to good to be true and guess it really was.

I had two friends looking to get those forks and just two days ago he was trying to get them both to pay, neither did luckly

I was interested in the forks he had for sale, and based upon his correspondence, I believe it is a scam too. He wanted me to pay half first, using PayPal for friends and family, and I knew that he had the same offer out to someone else.

There are two sets of these forks for sale on thumpertalk. Maybe one of them is speed demon on vital? Idk just trying to help.

I also contacted him about the forks, wanted me to pay half to "see if his PayPal worked" and once I mentioned goods and services he was gone.
