I have a 2018 YZ450F and I'm looking at getting a spare set of wheels for single track to go with the stock set I use for MX. I'm going to put the rear single track hub on an 18" rim. In looking at the RMC website, is there a difference in the rear hub from a 2018 YZ450F and a 2018 YZ450FX? The FX version is about $15 cheaper. Also wondering that since the YZ450FX goes on an 18" rim stock and I'm planning on putting it on an 18" rim, should I get the FX or F hub? TIA

I believe you have to run the 450F hub because of the difference in axle sizes between the two models.

If you're interested, I have a set of essentially brand new 18" Bulldog spokes that I used to lace up an 18" rear wheel for my YZ250F but never ended up riding on. Fits 2009-2019 YZ250F/YZ450F.

Thanks for the offer but I had already purchased new Excel spokes. Also thanks for the advice on the hub. I went ahead and got the OEM YZ450F hub just to be safe.

SPYGUY I might be interested in it in the future. I'm rebuilding a yz450f and am close to riding it for the first time. If I like it in the woods I'm going to get an 18" rear wheel. I usually lace them myself to save dough but if your price is decent then I may just do that. What rim did you use?
