Yes! Was starting to think it was going to be a no go from the way the clutch cover thread was turning.

Yeah I know right...
Good thing is he had a lot of pre orders for this one so a lot of customers & a lot of demand will hopefully result in getting them sooner.

Ref Velcro seat covers, I sell hundreds of Guts Velcro System covers and I’ve never had one return. In the Uk I only import the Velcro system, and I’ve used them on my own personal bikes for 3 years and I’ve never had one move

I’ll let you all know how fitment & everything else is once Chris can test it out. If everything is good he will start popping them out for us & start shipping.

I know Legacy has had some timing issues but I will continue to buy parts from them. The ignition cover and end cap I just received for my RM are amazing.

Haha, yeah but there is lots of bling you can’t see on these builds. He said they are 190 grams lighter with the carbon mounts riveted on so since you can’t see it hopefully you can feel it 😎

I think youd feel removing/installing a fork shim more than a seat base. But hey, what do I know.

Mine has been “shipped” since the 18th but ups says they haven’t got it yet. Hopefully one of those is mine.

Im in NC, my last ups order took a few extra days than normal. I bet you get it in the next few days. I would really love to hear the stock seat base weight vs this carbon unit.

Sorry to hear that Zesiger 😐 I hope he gets it to you soon.

As for weight he said stock one is 530g WITH the metal brackets (which are heavier than you think) vs 340g for the carbon base with carbon brackets. Not sure how much of that is From the steel brackets so YMMV....

I have them thin titanium brackets so I should be close to the full carbon set up.

FYI - stock steel brackets & screws weigh 92g so my guess is we are saving ~ 90g over the stock base.

I don’t think I’ve seen any emails yet. I pre ordered 2 of them bac in like early February I believe. I haven’t ordered brackets yet though. Keep debating between the CF ones or titanium ones.

Is the fitment good? I my fuel tank is leaking on my yz and i need a new one. I always wanted a carbon tank but they are so expensive but now mine broke. I would also like to buy a seat base.
