My buddy has a 2002 CR250R. He bought it from another friend of mine. It was meticulously maintained by the first owner. I'd guess he put less than 50 hours on the bike. It was raced one time at a team harescrambles with me. The second owner hasn't done much maintenance on it because he's only put about 10 hours on it. Pro circuit pipe, a small flywheel weight (I can't remember if it was 4 or 6 ounce). New clutch, reeds, front tire (all never installed). New No-Toil filters. I haven't gone through the box of spares but there may be a new piston/rings and gasket set as well. Ramp and triangle stand. Has black plastics installed but originals are on hand. I believe there are some other trickish bits installed. Just looking for a ballpark number so he doesn't get fucked.

I should have said in my original post....this bike would be mine but the wife says, "Enough....if you want another bike then one of the others must go". Apparently 5 is my limit.

That's what I figured. Honestly, neither one of the owners rode this bike very hard. It was the first bike for both guys. It scared them both.

I bought my ‘02 with about 20 hours for 2300 about a year ago. It was neglected (seized linkage bearings, seized chain adjuster bolt, needed crank bearings) and I probably overpaid a bit. However, it was very low time and had never been opened up-original piston was still usable if I really wanted to.

I’m in the PNW for reference.
