looking for A-Kit or PC works kit forks and shock for a 19'-20' kx450, thanks!

You need to watch what forks you get. There's only 2 a kits that are better then the stock forks. The a kit version of the stock forks has a grey fork cap and the newest stuff has a red cap.

The grey set is on eBay that's the stock fork a kit version 25mm. The red set is the new 27mm cartridge. As for a shock any older showa a kit shock works PC uses the internals. They don't have a new shock body yet.

I'm pretty sure you have it backwards. The red caps are the oem version. The PC set with the fork caps in the first pics have the larger cartridge. Mine have the red caps like what's in this link and 2cnd screenshot below.

I know some people at PC as I've had multiple kits go through there. They have the larger valve stuff on the newer forks like in your first screenshot.

You are correct the older a kit stuff isn't as good as current oem forks.

In the link he compared oem stuff to the red caps a kit. The only real difference other the. Bling and coatings is the a kit can adjust the spring perch. And a titanium post for valving. The shock has differences from the stock one. I truly believe the shock makes the a kit but everyone always wants the bling from the forks.

Also any older a kit fork made for a pre 19 is not a direct placement to the 19 and newer models like what was stated in the above add mx locker posted. The front axle is different diameter and you would need to use a pre 19 front wheel to use pre 19 forks.

He is correct, silver tanks on that pc stuff is current oem “kit” the brown tank red caps are the newer larger cartridge, I have them. Bml your red tank/red cap forks are an a kit version of them oem fork

Sorry guys, I am a little confused. So the A Kit on ebay with the gray caps are the latest? and any with the brown/red are earlier version of the 19/20?

The grey set on eBay is the 25mm a kit version of the stock forks. Better but the red and Brown is the newest 27mm.

correct. but there is also a brown tank and same style cap from 2018 PC that is the larger cartridge. I got mine before the red cap came out..i have the hex style cap but brown tanks.

Thanks for the clarification, now if I can just get the guy on ebay to respond......
Of course, he only has the forks, which I would prefer to get a forks/shock set, but it just hasnt been that easy to find.....

You will not find a A Kit shock for 19-20 kx450, you have to send to pc your stock and A Kit shock, they will use the A kit shock internals in your stock shock body
