Found THIS.

I messaged them and they said they don't ship to the US. Maybe try contacting them and offer to pay the shipping? No idea why they don't ship overseas.

That or maybe someone from down under can help you get it over to the US.

Thanks mav, was hoping someone had one state side collecting dust.

I've been on the look out for one for my 98 YZ250 for awhile now to match my Noleen ported motor. Tough to find. Lots of YZ125s and non yamaha ones show up but for some reason the YZ250s are harder to find.

The DynoPort big volume pipe is very similar to the Noleen pipe if you need something close till you find one.

Sundeen. In 99 Yamaha switched to the newer 99-present motor and they also reversed the spigot from a male on the 97/98s to a female. That said I might be interested in it and will reach out to you over PM..

Yeah those few years Yamaha had a lot of changes. I’m bummed I don’t have the silencer. Those are super rare but there’s always a few headers that pop up now and then.

In 98 I had noleen port my topend, revalve my shock and I bought a pipe and silencer from them. I was going to race motocross and finally had a good paying job as I just finished college and bought a brand new 98 YZ 250 having worked about 2 months. Lol

I raced a few motocross races as a novice and met some guys that raced harescrambles who brought me to a few. 22 years later I'm still racing in the woods with an expert card and a lot of good memories and friends! Needless to say the full moto YZ was not a good fit in the woods. Smashed that noleen pipe several times to the point of tossing it. Sad . But I recently got my bike back from my friend who I sold it to in 01 and I found the noleen silencer in the box of parts I gave him. Smile
No it's not for sale. Lol

Sorry to the OP for the minor hijack.

Since I'm actively looking myself I'll let you know if I come across a 96 at all.

If someone has a 97/98 version I'm interested in one myself.
