Scammer Warning - Tim Taylor

Yeah, he got me for close to 25k and about 9 other folks I know about. The guy does not work, he lives off his wife who is a teacher and his in-laws. He'll appear every so often, toggling back and forth between RC cars (until he gets run off from there) and then back to selling dirt bike stuff. He just can't seem to let go of dirt bikes even though his reputation is garbage .. he's like a drug dealer who can't stop using. He needs to get a damn job and leave people alone.

Not wanting to sound like a nosy bastard but how did he get you for 25k? That's a lot of cash.

If that guy took me for 25K he would be Dead for Real.

Tim is the type of guy to believe his own lies don’t send him Parts to swap and definitely don’t pay him any money

Nope, he does not. He was kicked off Vital, and from other sites also. He just keeps running his bike scams, insurance scams, eBay scams, you name it. I couldn't even get the cops here in Texas to do anything about him .. all they had to hear was "dirt bike" and they couldn't care less. It's up to us to protect ourselves. Correct about Tim believing his own lies, it helps him to lie more efficiently. There are multiple threads about this guy here, not just the one sited. This guy has stuff going back for YEARS and that's just dirt bikes. He's into RC cars, too and those (believe it or not) go for way, way more money than bikes do.

Holy shit! Dudes , I'll almost bet this is the exact same Tim taylor that was ripping off guys 10 years ago on the RC forums. How come this guy isn't doing serious jail time?

Yep, that would be the one. I caught him on eBay using a straw seller auctioning some of the parts he stole from me .. found out the guy knew Tim from RC cars.

Tim was actually using the same scam on the seller he used on us here: claimed to be a former team driver, had access to special RC parts, blah blah.

I’m still connected with that guy on FB, he returned the parts of mine he’d gotten from Tim but was in the hole to Tim for RC parts he’d fronted Tim. Timmy was going to get him a special hand-made exhaust from his “team connection.”

Dude runs trip and fall insurance scams, would work for local dealerships and help himself to parts, did a “rider benefit” RM250 and pocketed the money, on and on.

The cops don’t care because he’s non-violent, people like us don’t like to come forward to admit they got screwed, and he just hasn’t run across someone who will get even with him yet. It’s a perpetual motion machine.
