Looking for 2004 kx250 bottom end or complete motor

I'm toying with the idea of buying a "roller" 2004 kx250 project and the biggest thing holding me back would be if I could find a bottom end or complete motor for it. Just wondering if anybody had one available.

Don't do it. I have an 04 and it's a bastard year bike. I'm having to have the guide for the brake caliper welded because they are known to be weak and mine was sloppy loose. The engine linkage and swingarm were one year only. They were different in 03 and 05. Makes finding some parts difficult.

Thanks man! I've always been a Yamaha guy and don't have issues like that. (Haha) I'm a little skiddish to branch out to the green monster.

Great bikes but they just made a bunch of funky changes every year from 02 to 05. The 9 9 to 02 or 05 to 0 7 are pretty easy to deal with the 03 or 04 are much more of a pain due to basically being single production year bikes
