JMatt Scammer Buyer Beware!

Hello guys, a few weeks back I reached out looking to buy a cam for my bike. I received an email from JMatt (which has no actual posts on the Vital forum) saying someone he knew had a camshaft I’m looking for. Turns out it’s a scammer using multiple emails etc etc luring people in. I’ve seen some other people have him do the same thing to them so I thought I’d share with you guys to avoid him! Here’s some screenshots of the emails from JMatt and his “friend” Steve Gary.

This guy has been all over the forums for a few months now. Same setup, only names and email addresses are changed.

Hello guys, a few weeks back I reached out looking to buy a cam for my bike. He tried to get me last week. Even used different emails to try to convince me I was taking to multiple people.

Thanks for posting this, I was contacted yesterday by this POS. I knew it sounded too good to be true so I was not going to send money but it still leaves you thinking about if its real or not and is it worth the risk... Thanks for taking the time to warn people!!!!

Got an email from him a couple weeks ago about some Crf450x parts. Basically word for word about contacting someone else. I’ve been around enough to know something was fishy but didn’t think much of it. Bummer that he’s gotten a few people on here.

I ALWAYS just pay goods and services, and cover the fee if it is a make or break deal on something I’m looking for. It’s saved me at least once one some parts that showed up not as described. For the minimal fee it’s worth the peace of mind.

This should be pinned to the top of the Bazaar section. Exact same scam is getting people at advrider.com as well.

That's f'd up. I've used my credentials to ensure trustworthiness, now this douche completely abuses anything he can to swindle people. Tarnishing others. If he put this much energy into an actual job he'd be pretty well off... With benefits and retirement!
