Looking for a 2019-2021 shock off an RMZ 250 to put on a RMZ450. A stock oem take off would be great. I want to swap out the BFRC shock. Text me @

Just an FYI anybody looking for this, I ordered one off of Partzilla back around Black Friday, they were 30% off at the time if I remember correctly but backordered with no expected delivery date. I decided to order it and if it showed up before the season started great and if not I would cancel it (winter here in NE). Well it showed up brand new in the box the other day, for less than what most of the used ones I saw were costing people. Worth checking out, I used the 2021 model year rmz250. Haven't installed it yet but it looks correct. -Justin

I can’t let you know soon, I can’t say I had anything to complain about with my revalved/resprung BFRC but I may not know what I’m missing

So I've put a few hours on mine now and I have to say it works great. Obviously nobody wants to say they spent a bunch of money to make their bike worse, but I'll try to be objective. When I first got my 18  450, I found that I was knifing the front and having stupid tipovers, and the bike was a little unpredictable in certain situations the worst being coming into a corner with ruts/braking bumps etc. I did the ride engineering link and slid the forks down which helped. The following season I added FCP engine mounts/hangers which were a big help, too. I left both the link and hangers on when I did the KYB 250 shock on my bike for this season. I will say this is the best the bike has ever felt, It is just so much more predictable, and I immediately had more confidence cornering and riding deeper ruts than I have in the past few seasons on it. It feels smoother, or more progressive. Running the sag at 105mm. I'm a C- rider (and not a tester) so take it with a grain of salt haha. Hope this is helpful!
