I’m unsure if 02-04 are the same? However I’m looking for a 2002 CR250 Cylinder. Mine needs a replate but would like to have a spare that’s ready to go.

Not looking to pay an arm and a leg but I understand these aren’t cheap either. My email is derick2536@gmail.com

They are the same and will bolt on, however the if you're using a 2002 cylinder, you will need the 2002 powervalve assembly too (it's a one year part). The powervalve was changed in 2003 and you can't put those bits in the 2002 and vice versa. Good luck.

In 2004 they changed the exhaust port as well so the 04 powervalves are also different. Honda changed the oem cyl. porting specs each yr. from 02, 03 & 04.

Am i understanding this right?
If you buy a certain year cylinder from 02-04 you also have to get that years power valves to match?
