Hey guys,
I wanted to see who all would be interested in a group buy on some DLC coated shock shafts to fit KYB shocks found on Yamaha's. These would be a new bare shaft then DLC coated so you would need your suspension guy to put the bushing & o-rings back in as well as swap over all the shims & valving. Most of you smart folks already knew that but had to say it for those who don't understand how suspension works.
TT sells these ones below for $290 complete so my "goal" is to get these new ones down to ~ $200 or less even depending on who all wants one & what price breaks I can get.

I have one 18mm shaft ready to go as a sample run I just did that will fit the yz & older yzf stuff but I can also get the newer 16mm ones for the current yzf models. That being said if there is enough interest in this I can also look into other ones for Honda, Suzuki & Kawasaki models for both 2 & 4 stroke.
Let me know what you all think & who would be interested in one!

These are brand new OEM shafts that have been DLC coated.
As you can see the DLC & TiN is no problem as I got that down. The issue I’m running into on the fork tubes is being able to buy new ones at a good price. If you all want to pull yours & send them to me I can coat them & save everyone a few hundred bucks for sure! I just need to do it in batches. I did all my friends bikes & a few others & you can see they turned out great!

I’m going to be placing an order this Friday for shock shafts. As of now I have 2 confirmed but I’ll get another one to get us to the 3 mark & $190 price point. If we can get 2-3 more to bump us to the next discount that would be great & the price will go down to $180. Please reply to this thread & confirm that you do want one. I’ll reach out in a pm but if you don’t have any info listed please post some type of contact (ph # or email) so that I may reach you. I would like some type of deposit on this please so I know you are serious. I’m think 1/2 down or like $100.
The other option is if you are handy is to break down your shaft & send it to me for coating. Based on the current volume I can do that for $125.
In addition since all of this is going to the same coater if you have fork tubes ready to go I can also offer the following:
DLC fork sliders $300
DLC shock shaft with fork sliders $400 (we save $25)

Yes, $180 for a DLC or TiN coated brand new shock shaft if we can get 5 orders at once. If not & we only get 3-4 they will be $190.
Do you have a acct set up to send out for kashima might as well send out the shock body and uppers. Any intrest in that?
No account for Kashima. I wish though as only 1-2 places in USA can send them to the factory in Japan bc of some bad shops in the past not paying for service. Sad...
Only 2 people ordered a new one so I got an extra to make it 3 in total to get the price down. Got a notification on Monday that they were back ordered for 8 weeks 😖
So if anyone wants theirs coated that is the only option right now. I’m sending out a new batch in April so people have time to pull theirs if they like. $125 or if we can send in 5 or more I can do them for $100.
