Should fit 95 -04. Forks are 46mm. Yamaha of Troy suspension. I don’t know the settings. Pretty good shape for its age.

CrGuy2T you know these parts pretty well. Your shock has the the adjuster on the front, that eBay one (1st picture) has the adjuster on the back, and I believe mine (2nd picture) has the adjuster centered above the resivor like the current production unit.

Do you know why? Is this just variance between steel and aluminum frame/when the shock was built? For example mine was for Gannon audette 250f so possibly a newer version?

That $1800 for the eBay shock is outrageous! $2500 for forks and shock is reasonable. Way cheaper than a lot of people.

Probably more of just evolution. Mine will not work on a 4t it will only work on 2t. It’s hard to say honestly why it’s all changed.

I think it´s about costs , having one shock to fit all models was a great update from a economic stand. Im pretty sure they stopped doing these 2 piece shocks of the same reason.

Todays "a kit" is no where near the bling factor these shocks had imo.
