Not only was this cerakoted on the outside but also the inside? Is it ruined now?

Completely dismantled. Will need all new seals and bearings and piston and rings. Engine cases are cerakoted inside and out. Will come with transmission Internals. Stator

Looks horrible
Yeah but worse than that aren't the tolerances going to be off because of the Cerakote on the inside? I know some bearings can be hard to install even when they are cold and the cases are heated up. I can't imagine what it would be like after the extra added material from the cerakote although I do know it's very thin compared to other coatings but I
still have a feeling this will create issues. Likely the reason its up for sale after someone took all the time for that cerakote job. Maybe someone with more cerakote experience can chime in on whether this is ruined or is there a way to remove cerakote like maybe vapor blasting?

That looks more like a KX500 engine than a CR500. Even the right side clutch cover confirms that. I’d be suspicious of that listing.

Looks to be an old one, I think 87 Had the panel on the side where a KIPS sticker went.
But that's the least of the issues, that thing looks fukkkkkkked.
