Buying 2019 CRF450R

Hi guys,

New to this site, but had a question. I’m on the hunt for a 2019 CRF450R and have been shopping around at dealers. Best deal I have found is $8000 OTD with all fees applied just want to find out if that is a good deal. I’m in California.

The 2020 does have some good engine upgrades, but depending on the riders ability it’s not a big deal.

You guys need to buy second hand bikes from Oz. 19 Crf450’s go for 5800-6k. With exchange thats mid-high 3’s for you. Second hand market is brutal here

I bought the 19 crf on December 21st. Sales tax, title, fees otd was $8400. I was pretty happy with that. Actually just got to ride it for the first time on Sunday. Love it so far. Minus the fact it ain't shiny brand new no mo!!

Is that for a new bike or used? If it's new that is a great deal. Used-- still not a bad deal if its clean.

That is a good deal for CA. Honda might have some bonus bucks that the dealers are using to move the left over 19 models off the showroom floors. I paid $9,500 cash for an 18 model in Dec. of 17 & thought that was a decent deal for CA.

Sorry I thought this was about CRF250R. There was engine changes to the 250.

No worries. I didn’t think there were any major upgrades on the 450 engine besides different mapping.

I think I’m going to pull the trigger on the bike for $8k and even try to get them lower considering they probably aren’t selling many bikes during this corona virus deal haha.
