Got a hard lesson on trying to use ebay. Did two auctions and both winning bidders backed out. I tried reaching out to the second and third place bidders and didn't hear a thing. I am giving Iconic Motor Bikes a shot. If you or know anyone interested, click the link below. Even if you are not in a position to bid on the bike, these guys wrote a beautiful add on it, some good reading! The bike is located just outside of Denver, Colorado. I follow them on IG, seems like a cool bunch of folks and an up and comer in the auction scene.

Sure had some interesting stuff to say about one of the big name auction companies, too..

Cool to see these older, still-in-crate bikes. Unfortunately, this one is not quite pristine -- looks like it was stored in a humid environment. Corrosion on frame and other alloy parts. The '04 was kind of a bridge version between the 02-03 bikes and the significantly revised 05-07 models. All 3rd gen frames, but significantly different, especially the 05-07 motors.

Crated bikes will just never be the same since our encounter with the former NHL / drug addict friend of ours. He sure ruffled some feathers.
