Bike shipping

Looking to have an old DT50 shipped from Washington state to Georgia. The bike was only $500 and the few top shipping company results are quoting up to a grand, it's not a pristine bike.

Are there better priced options that wouldn't involve the current owner stripping bike down and putting in boxes?

I sold a bike on here and it shipped from cali to Illinois and I tjink the guy used uship and it was around $300

Uship is the way to go. I have used them at least 5 times now. Every time was a huge success and less than 400 every time. You will get some commercial bids that are high( 700-1500) just ignore those and wait for the local drivers to bid.

hey - where at in Washington and where to in Georgia? I live in Billings Montana and am headed to Elkins, WV the 1st week in October. Big truck / trailer gig - If it is really easy peasy - I would do it for free etc. Been driving / running my business for 25+ years and have hauled a ton of bikes for folks - as long as I can make it along the regular rout...ish!
