I need a 2004+ RM125/250 swingarm. I currently have one that is powder coated black and would love to have one that is raw aluminum for my build. If anyone is interest I’ll in swapping I’ll pay shipping. Mine does need new bearings

Sorry, tank is definitely staying for the build lol it’s part of the reason I want a raw swingarm. It’ll also go with the raw/polished triple clamps and linkage, and vaporblasted cylinder

RM build - sweeet!!!
Ryan, keep in mind 04 and 05+ swingarms are different on a 250 (05+ swingsrm is more rigid due to some added material), and I think 125 and 250 swingarms are a bit different too. I will check it later today and report back.

I have been wondering if the swap would work also. I know the swingarms are different but do you know if the 04 caliper will still work on the newer swingarm? I know the rear caliper is different from 04 to 05. I did not compare them side by side but I did try to bolt an 05 caliper guard on the 04 and it would not work it was close but a little to small. Maybe I’m wrong but I’m going off what I tried. If anyone knows if the 04 stuff please share I have a trashed 04 swingarm and have access to an 05.

That is good to know as well. I looked into an RMZ swingarm swap and that looked like a nightmare. I have a friend who may swap me locally but I don’t know when I’ll see him next as he is 4 hours away 🤦🏻‍♂️

The ‘04 and ‘05 swing arms are not interchangeable without the rear brake system swap as well. IMO
