Ever heard of a dealer? Really not going to save that much money unless the dude selling it is having his house foreclosed on and needs 6 grand immediately...

Have bought several like new bikes over the years, saving easily $2,000-$3000 everytime man.
Why buy brand new, when I can find the same bike with less than 5 hours for $2000-$3000 less?
I just got a new 2017 CRF450 for 6400 OTD from Holiday Powersports in Texas. They had one left last I checked.

I only paid 7k for my 17 350 at the dealer in September. I think Chris means that it would almost be the same price finding a 17/18 over buying a used one.

7 before tax
Nothing to offer in regards to your search in the south. Just saying pricing sucks in Norcal. No more 17 350 to be found, although I did get a quote a few months ago for $8,200 OTD.
Last week been searching for a new 18 350. Best price so far is $10,200 OTD.
If I travel a couple of hours, best is $10,000 OTD

Douche post right here. Everyone has "heard" of a dealer!!??
Used bikes with few hours on them are the specialty of vet dudes whose priorities have changed.
There’s a guy on the site here that has a 18 Honda 450 for 8200 less than 4 hrs on the bike located in Knoxville TN area.

I had a brand new 18 Honda 450 I just sold for 8k with about $300 in extras. And it took a while to sell it.

Saw that one on Facebook. Suspension set up for 250lbs, little pricey to me
I've been looking too. Problem lately is someone wants to off their mistake but ask damn near what you can beat a dealer down to. Gotta wait and be patient and you can really make out well. If you can't wait, gotta pay to play I suppose. I usually try the same route as you because I usually sell every year. This year may be different though and I may keep it till it dies this time.
FYI, there's an 18 crf at Honda east in Toledo Ohio with only a couple hours on it for 7500. Tempted, but I'm not in a position to pull the trigger just yet. If I were, that 18 I speak of would be hard to pass up. Still heavily contemplating an 18 rmz though because I could be under 7otd at several dealers.

I like the rmz’s, but resale is horrible.
Where are you finding them $7k OTD though?
There’s a used one local with a couple hours the guy will do 7k on, which is way too much for a rmz lol
Well, like I mentioned, I may keep this one forever. Resale sucks on all of them. I had a tough time selling my 16 Ktm around here for a fair price. Lost my ass. There's a couple dealers here in Ohio that will be right at 7k. One even less in south Carolina.. With the 18 being new, I dont think resale will be as bad as a 10 year old body style.

What's this guys number on the used 18
Ended up going with a 2017 ktm 350 with 3 hours for $6500. More than I wanted to spend on it, really wanted to try out a ktm 350 though.
I'd suggest calling around and finding a leftover 17, unless you're hell bent on an 18, and see what they can do for you. I got my leftover 17 KTM 450 otd for 7600 in the fall. Had to drive about 6 hours to get it, but worth it IMO....
Look on cycletrader.com and see what's out there. Good luck with the search!

Your local KTM dealer just closed it's doors. Way to go guy!.....................That's a good deal I would like to try one for a season also. I rode a 16 awhile back and was instantly comfortable with it but just not for the price...........
