Will a 2017 Husky fc350 motor fit into a 2019 KTM 350SXF frame?

I tried asking a similar question about swapping a 250 frame with a 350 motor and couldn't get a response. I have a 17 and 19 FC250, if it helps I could try to see if the measurements are the same between the two. If the 250 is I'd say theres a good chance the 350 is as well. If you figure it out before then please post and let me know!

I would check the frame part numbers between the 17 FC and the 19 SXF. If they don't match, then I would suspect the motor swap won't work.

well those definitely won't match for 1 because it's two different brands lol jk but really because the new frame is slightly different, supposedly more rigid and takes different plastics even if comparing husky to husky as you should so there will be differences but that doesn't mean the motor won't fit. most of the motor changes are internal that I know of so I suspect it will fit just have never heard of anyone trying this yet.

Part numbers tend to be the same between the brands for the most part.

But now that you mention it, I would assume the part numbers for the frames would be different just because of the colors. Brain fart on my part.

Not a ton of help but I put an '18 350exc motor in and '18 250sxf frame. Theres a kickstart boss on the exc stuff so I had to modify the exhaust the fit. but everything else was fine. They made frame changes in 2019 though. I know it works in the same generation ie 2016-2018, 2019-2021 but not sure about going forward.

I was at the shop rebuilding my 19 fc 350 and the owner had bough my 17 350sxf and was in the middle of a rebuild on it. the only difference we discovered was the base gasket was different do to the water jackets being in different locations everything else appeared to be identical.
