Ok, figured maybe a friend did. It would eliminate the question, people will ask.

@mx286 yes the thing that's wrong is I don't have the determination like I used to... I have lost the drive to continue down this path.... I'm 23. I have 3 kids. And I raced the pro class.... but the drive got lost when I saw my fiancé father screaming at my 6 yr old son for not racing his best like he has seen him ride at home.... and since he weighed his money/time against a blessing from the lord it made me realize how selfish this sport will make you... and I'm totally over it.....!

It's almost like you threw a child in a box and yelled at the child for not sitting in the box the right way when the child is in the box because of you to begin with.....

I understand that my son has nothing to do with my riding.... but looking back at all the money I have spent and the time away from my children because of dirt bikes and always trying to keep up with someone that's putting the work in has just got me totally re-thinking the whole mx career...

For me I'm always setting expectations and if it's not the expectations then it's meeting a requirement (someone else ran a 2.06.68) and all that worry is for nothing....

We all know that in order to be capable of actually shooting for the top 10 in the pro ranks you have to have a $50,000 machine....
And for me $50,000.00 is something I could use to better my boy's lives....

So I'm selling all my stuff...

Also one more thing.... I used to enjoy motocross back in the c class days of my time.... but the past couple races that I have ridden recently I had 0% FUN. Because riding at the pro level is complete and utter WORK. And if I wanted to work I would just goto my job like every Monday-Friday occasion.

Nothing is wrong with the bike. It's pristine... I just want it gone because I just have simply lost the interest.
Below is a picture that I will always remember/enjoy of my children and I as I transfer the love that I had for moto into them....

Some of you may never understand but for many that have realized weighing time and money against a loved ones talents is unacceptable. And I don't want to become selfish.

I have literally heard one of my sons 50cc friends say "when I went back to the trailer my dad grabbed me by my chest protector and threw me up against the wall and started screaming at me....."

You know, I'm mostly don't chime in much to add my $.02, but there's something to be understood here. Motocross isn't something you always have to compete and WIN with. You can keep the bikes to RIDE and keep up on the maintenance for relatively cheap when you compare it to going full moto dad. I mean don't get me wrong, I totally get what you're saying with regards to the work it takes to remain competitive at a certain level. However, if you and your kids genuinely enjoy the ride, it's unjust to even let the pressure be applied to race like that. To your boys and yourself as well. Also I agree that time and money shouldn't be weighed against performance and talent. Kids aren't capable of comprehending the correlation. It's also your Father-in-law-to-be's responsibility to understand that he's the one deciding to put his time and money into their HOBBY, not their future. Although I totally understand how frustrating it might be to spend like 500 bucks on a weekend for them to pull off the track or get last. That would bum me out too, but the drive to win and perform needs to be instilled in them, not expected.

If it were me, I'd keep my bike to just go out and follow my kids around. Throw more whips for the wife to brag about and then let the rest be what it is... bs.

Im right there with you! I don't race anymore either because of the time I have to put in to be competitive I'd rather spend swimming in the pool with my kids and catching hop toads with them!
This is a tough time of year to sell bikes from my experience. If u can park it till February or March it would be gone in a week !
I just ride with friends on occasion now and ride around our property with kids. It's actually alot more fun!
