Bike is in new cond. with 0 hrs.. I had a few inquires about it after posting a pic (07 in the back ground) of a YZ & RM. I figured I'd post it for sale after seeing a couple of late model CR's for sale on here. Asking $12K..

If you sell, you might be kicking yourself in a few years.

cool toy but I think if you were able to "swap" it for the new 450WE youd be a happier camper

A new 450WE is a depreciating asset. In 2022, 2023, 2024 there is a 100% probability that it will be worth less than the day he bought it.
Not necessarily so with a 2007 CR250 in showroom condition.

If you ride the 250, it’s worth 1/2 of what you pay for it.

Thats what the term "showroom condition" implies. Unridden, new condition.
He isn't going to ride the bike.

I’m pretty sure Pizza4breakfast was implying that he would enjoy “Riding” the 450, more than looking at this 250 collecting dust in the garage. JMO

But, I do agree that an unridden 450 will not increase in value, if that’s what your point is.

This latest surge of selling an unridden 2-stroke is great for collectors. I get that...
But if you are interested in making profit of one, you can invest the money and make much more off of your investment, than you can off buying a dirt bike and trying to keep it in “showroom condition” for 14 years. Let alone it taking up room in your garage the whole time.

But hey.... if you got room and just want to look at it and have other bikes to ride, there’s nothing wrong with that either. I love dirt bikes and can appreciate an older one, whether it’s restored or never started.

Thats why I consistantly encourage H4L not to sell this bike.
While he would realize an acceptable, but not spectacular profit- seller's remorse would most likely outweigh the gain.

The best of both worlds ! The 3rd gen AF CR250r & 20 CRF450r WE are 2 of the best MX bikes I've had the privilege of owning in 4+ decades.
