2004 YZ250, first year of 48mm forks, last year of steel frame.

From what I was told, this was Mike Brown's practice bike, purchased from Yamaha of Troy back in 05 or 06 by my family. Title was transferred to me in 2015.

This bike came from YoT with:
Vortex ignition with handlebar switch
Excel wheels
Dunlop Geomax tires with about 4 hours of trail riding on them.
FMF Factory Fatty exhaust (Flawless)
FMF Turbine core 2 spark arrestor+silencer
ARC unbreakable front brake lever
Renthal sprockets with plenty of life left
Rare Factory Yamaha of Troy triple clamps with titanium bolts!
Rare Factory Yamaha of Troy clutch perch
Unknown fork lugs , told it was Factory YoT as well, enzo tuned.

(Reversible) Changes made to adapt to my height and riding style:
IMS 3.2 gallon desert tank (factory tank included)
SDG tall seat (factory seat included, plus never-installed YoT Boost Mobile cover)
TAG high bend handlebars (2 sets of original pro tapers included)
11oz flywheel weight
2006 plastics (set of original Yamaha of troy graphics on plastics included, some scuffs)
Pro taper grips
YZ450f 5.4 spring in rear for 210lb rider, will include original spring
Works frame guards
Works Skid plate
Fastway footpegs (have factory pegs as well)
Devol Radiator gaurds
Rox 1" offset bar risers
VForce 3 reeds
Various sized jets to meet your altitude.

From what I was told, the engine was swapped with a standard YZ250 engine at the dealer, and I believe the rear shock was as well. Yamaha of Troy experts may more about this bike than I do. Also found out that Nstyle is reproducing the 2004 YoT graphics!

Red sticker registered until 2020, pink in hand
Bike sat in garage for about 5 years, other years only taken out on a couple weekend desert trips per year.
Runs great, starts first kick, willing to let you start it cold.

A couple members reached out to me about this bike on my original craigslist, but fell through. Only interested in selling the whole bike, moving and can't take it with me. Not sure what a bike like this is worth so please make offer. Looking for cash only, located in Valencia CA

In 05 I was fortunate enough to pick up one of CR22's 04 YZ250 practice bike through a Larry Brooks acquaintance. It had a PC engine with Enzo suspension. I later test rode a couple of 05-06 YZ250's with the AF, similiar mods & didn't care for them due to the rigidity of the frame. The 04 was a good year for the YZ. GLWS..

No worries. Figured I’d ask and see if maybe you were up for trading it for a stock pipe.

GLWS man and maybe one of these days we will run into each other out at the track or desert

Price?
Not sure what this bike is worth, so I don't want to lowball myself. Looking for reasonable offers.
