Bought from the original owner earlier this year. Looks to have less than 10 hours on it, all original right down to the tires and grips, with exception of a UNI Filter and an O-ring chain. I have too many bikes and not enough time to ride them so I’ve decided to reign things in for a while.

The bad:

Previous owner used a corrosive cleaner and the engines are oxidized, I’ve been told that they will clean up and look like new again with use of a vapour blaster.

Top of steering stem shows rust, as does an area on the stock bars where the paint has chipped off, I’m assuming same cause as the engine cases. It’s obvious the bike has been stored indoors and well taken care of, so that’s all I can figure, unless the humidity in Tennessee would cause this over time.

Upper pipe mount is broken, like most KX500’s.

He also appears to have tried to sand the graphics off of the right side of the tank, it’s scuffed up.

I have not made any attempt to restore the tank or the engine cases. Been too busy with work and the bike has just been collecting dust since I got it home.

I have a lot of aftermarket goodies for this bike too, I had the intention of going all out with it and making a real formidable moto weapon out of it but reality is doing a project bike will just take away valuable riding time which I already don’t have enough of.

Located in Kamloops BC.

I have the original Tennessee title and import documenta from bringing it into Canada.

$4700 USD or $6000 Cdn firm. I can assist with shipping arrangements.

Will take that 500, plus cash, for my 95 Freightliner. 470 hp, 1450 torque, 18spd, 46 rears. No EOBR will be required, too old.

For sure. Free bump, but you're about $1500 too high to sell in the states.

There are lots of cheaper ones out there for sure. I’m sticking to my price though. I originally bought a cheaper one and regretted it, I wanted one that was as good as new, unrestored. It was a long search to find this one and I’ll be taking a loss at this price. I may have paid too much but it was exactly what I was looking for, which is hard to find, and the price seemed fair to me.

Shoot me a text when you get a chance. 7782208522. I would like to come have a look, see what goodies come with. I was talking to my wife over dinner and she understands that this isn't just 'any' motorcycle... Surprisingly she agreed and said I should take a look...

Kamloops BC. I’m in the trucking business so should be able to help find a reasonable shipping solution if you’re far away.

You need more trucks. I got a 2012 Freightliner glider kit to trade for a farm tractor with a cab and loader. It's the truck that replaced the Classic with an exempt 1995 block in it. I already have 2 KX500 engines which are tractor like but just not tractor enough.
