Going back and forth on selling and getting a big bore. If I were to list, what price shouldn’t I go below? Suspension work done in june. Top end has about an hour on it. Rest is just cosmetic upgrades. Thanks for the help!

Don't do it!!!!

Honestly as a buyer, I wouldn't spend more than $2200 for it the way it sits. That's just my opinion though.

Haha I figured I would get a lot of the “don’t do it”. Probably shouldn’t!

I would keep it! I have a 2003 kx125 and have so much fun on it. The two things I did do was bore it 80 over and put a PC pipe on mine and wow it came alive.

Worst mistake I made was selling my 2001 CR125. It was minty. As I saw it driving away I was like "I screwed up".

That said it's probably worth around $2000 depending on condition.

Keep it.

If you're on the fence about it, I wouldn't do it. I sold an '07 CRF450R back in '12 and I still miss it. The kicker is, I sold it for less than what they're priced at today. So if you think you'll want another one later-on, don't do it.

I was on the same fence as you when I first got my 04 kx 125. I priced it fairly high to see if someone would bite then I decided against it. That is when I started the build I fell in love with it. I will never sell mine.

Like many have said on here, if your not 100% sure just keep it. You will pay twice what you sell it for if you want to buy another one down the road, and then you have no idea what your getting. Sellers regret hurts more than buyers regret, as at least if you bought something you still have it.

I sold a RMZ250 that had every possible upgrade to it include an A kit. Watching it drive away was like watching my daughter leave for the military. Still hurts and it’s been years. I keep watching for it to pop up in line for sale, and damn skippy, I will buy it back for probably what I sold it for. ???

Slowoldman

Thanks for the persuasive words guys haha. Guess I’ll keep it in the garage and buy a 4 stroke to compliment it around May. Best of both worlds I suppose.

2013! Bunch of aftermarket stuff, suspension revalved, full yoshi exhaust and the engine is completely new to include the cases (was rebuilt in feb). Have the paperwork and called builder to verify. $3k! Sounded like a good deal to me so had to pull the trigger.
